Filament materials: how PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, nylon and PC print
Each material guide starts with a table of what the manufacturers themselves publish for that family: nozzle and bed temperatures, density, drying conditions, heat deflection temperature and, where a maker states it, a maximum volumetric speed. The text then explains what those numbers mean on a printer, citing the Prusa Knowledge Base, the Bambu Lab Wiki and the data sheets.
Values differ between brands for the same material because formulations differ. When a guide gives a range, it is the range the cited makers publish, not a universal truth for every spool.
